It is a loyalty system constructed basing on the IT infrastructure therefore PCs, software and IT-networks. The most popular system platform is the Microsoft Windows. This kind of loyalty systems base on an already existing IT infrastructure.

Bar code scanners

Pistol long-range CCD readers are simple devices with good working parameters. Without any difficulty they read bar codes printed on plastic cards. With these devices it possible to set appropriate parameters to read symbols. Another important feature of them is low power consumption. An interface is changed by changing a cable. A reader’s software can be updated.

CCD readers read bar codes from a distance up to 40 m. A clear and uniform scanning beam and reading damaged or inferior quality codes significantly enhances operational ease.  We recommend CCD readers especially to read dense, fine printed codes, where a thin scanning bundle is needed.

Magnetic card readers

In loyalty systems magnetic card readers function as devices identifying a customer using a plastic card ID. Due to a wide variety of readers and encoders we manufacture or by other world leading companies whose products are distributed by UNICARD we can offer to any customer an optimum solution.

With readers a customer is identified automatically. When a card is read info on a customer is transferred in electronic form to a sales department. Automated customer identifying systems save time and substantially eliminate mistakes made often when entering a customer number by an operator.

Magnetic card readers are simple and inexpensive. They are fit to cooperate with many sales programmes offering discounts and customer’s bonus point accumulation. We have implemented a large number of such systems.

Electronic card readers

DTU 2000 series readers as a basis for the UNILOJAL-200 system are one of the most universal products. With then one can easily and for little money operate electronic cards of regulars (chip cards). Apart from an electronic identification of a customer with these readers transaction data can be saved on a card. Readers cooperate with various PCs. With them any loyalty programme can be carried out.
Due to their versatility electronic card readers are used for:

•    loyalty systems (to realise programmes with which a customer records data on an electronic card)
•    pay systems (electronic purses)
•    other identifying systems (where a customer is ID-ied with an electronic card)

Program Bonus System Terminal

A Bonus System Terminal (BST) by UNICARD is one of applications magnetic or electronic card readers can cooperate with. This programme is an irreplaceable information source on customers of company’s chain shops. With it the likes and habits of customers can be followed to increase his purchasing. The programme functions on the Windows platform irrespective of the operated systems of sales. It can function as a single card service stand of a regular’s card both in a small shop, and as an element of multi-stand system within a national commercial chain.

 

 

Management programme: Bonus System Serwer

The Bonus System Serwer (BSS) is a computer programme for easier local or dispersed loyalty system mangement. It coordinates the network operation based on the Bonus System Terminal application or Unilojal 400 terminals.

BSS programme - functions:

•    operating a Unilojal 400 electronic card reader
•    conversion of a purchase value into “bonus points”
•    record of reserved cards
•    management of a transaction base with a set parameter e.g. a card No. or a date/time
•    printouts of lists for individual shops or entire chain
